Today I am trying out a new accessory to my xTool S1. I am trying out the Safety Pro AP2 Air Purifier.

The AP2 is a 6 layer filtration system designed to remove dust and absorb odor.

When I first got my xTool S1, I kept it upstairs. It was right near a window (but not blocking access to it) and it was easy to vent the exhaust outside.

After about 6 months, I moved it downstairs. The only place for it was right in front of the window. The arrangement made it hard to reach the window to open it. It was hard to get the piping outside, and hard to block off the open window so the smoke didn't make it's way back in.

I ended up not using it very often.

Then I heard about the Safety Pro AP2 Air Purifier. What drew me to it was that it does NOT need to be vented outside! No more hassle trying to vent my machine!

UNBOXING & SETTING UP THE SAFETY PRO AP2

The Safety Pro AP2 arrived quickly and it was very well packaged.

Inside the box it was encased with foam and wrapped tight with velcro belts, ensuring nothing was damaged during shipping.

I removed the air purifier from the packaging. Each filter was wrapped in plastic to be removed.

I followed the instructions to set it up. It was really quite easy.

Remove packaging and place filters back in the machine.
Add the magnetic cover over the filters.
Insert the hose from the xtool into the back of the purifier.
Add the usb dongle to the back of the xtool.
Turn it on.

Instructions vary slightly depending on which laser machine you have, but it is super easy to set up.

WHAT XTOOL MACHINES IS THE AP2 COMPATABLE WITH?

The Safety Pro AP2 Air Purifier is compatible with all xTool machines.

However, the auto-mode feature is only compatible with the P2S, S1, M1 Ultra, and F1 Ultra.
