Christmas Tree Review (King of Christmas)

I know, I know. It's a little early for Christmas posts.

BUT, when I was offered the chance to review a Christmas tree for King of Christmas, I just had to jump on it.

You see the lights stopped working on my old tree.

So for the past few years, I've been stringing lights. Not fun!

I've been pleased with this new tree and will share the details in this post.

This product was received for free in exchange for an article. All opinions are mine.

CHRISTMAS TREE REVIEW (KING OF CHRISTMAS)

King of Christmas has a wide variety of trees. I love a big, full tree and this Cypress Spruce did not disappoint. This one is 7.5 feet tall and about 5 feet wide at the base.

They also have trees that are shorter and trees that are taller than this one. They have a variety of narrow, pencil trees for small spaces. Big, full trees like I received. And lots of options in between.

If you love a flocked tree, they've got options for that too.

KING OF CHRISTMAS UNBOXING

Since I got the 7.5 cypress spruce, it came in two boxes. It arrived really quickly.

When compared to my lab, you can see just how large they are.

Rex was quite interested in what was happening, so you might see him investigating in some of the pics.

SETTING UP THE CHRISTMAS TREE

Setting up the Christmas tree is similar to any other tree I've set up.

I was pleasantly surprised at how large the stand was. It's sturdy and not going to let the tree to tip over.

As is typical, the tree came in three sections.

Simply insert the pole of the largest section of the stand, then add the middle and then the top.

You can see our cat Nala was intrigued by the tree. Our other cat was scared of the commotion and hid under the couch.

I only had one problem.

I couldn't find all the cords to connect the lights. I found one in each section. But I couldn't find the cords to connect them to.

I did figure it out and I'll explain here, so you don't have the same trouble.

cords on christmas tree

Above is a picture of the top section of the tree. (The same thing applies to the middle section of the tree.)

There is a cord that is attached to the 'trunk' of the tree, near the bottom of each section.

Unplug that cord - that is the cord that attaches to the cord on the other section of the tree.

Pro Tip: Tie a red ribbon to the ends of the cords, so they're easier to find next year.

Note: King of Christmas also has trees that you don't even need to connect cords! The lights magically connect when the poles of the tree are connected.

Here it is all assembled. I love how full and bushy it is.

Since I didn't keep it up (It wasn't even October yet when I set it up), I didn't bother to fluff the tree much.

But as you can see, it doesn't need much.

christmas tree with red bulbs

I added a few red bulbs. I'm loving this tree! It really looks quite realistic. The simplicity of the red and green is so pretty.

And then it was time to turn on the lights.

There is a handy foot pedal to turn on the lights. I love this feature. No more bending over and reaching behind the tree to plug in the lights.

PLUS there's a remote for the tree as well!

I think the lights are my favorite feature of the tree. Being able to switch between white and colored lights is pretty cool.

There is also a setting for blinking lights (not for me).

And a setting that gradually dims and then brightens the lights. This feature is pretty neat.

There's even a feature that switches between the white and the colored lights.

christmas tree bag

When Christmas is over and it's time to put away the tree, it comes with a handy bag to keep it in.

So if you're in the market for a new tree, definitely check out King of Christmas.

Their trees are quality and realistic looking. And they have a wide variety of styles and sizes to please everyone.
