FREE LOG CABIN QUILT PATTERNS & TUTORIALS

Some patterns assume that you know how to construct a basic log cabin quilt block. If you don't know how to do that, here are a few good tutorials to learn the basic technique.

You'll notice that a traditional log cabin block uses dark fabrics on one half of the block and lighter fabrics on the other half. When made this way, you can create lots of different patterns just by arranging the blocks in different ways.
