Need a quick and easy dinner idea? Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwiches are a new favorite around here.
Not long ago, my husband had a hankering for a chicken cordon bleu sandwich and brought home the ingredients for this EASY meal.
Crispy chicken, juicy ham and melty cheese all on a toasted bun. YUM!
I like to have these for lunch too, It's easy to make a single serving in the air-fryer.

HOW TO MAKE EASY CHICKEN CHICKEN CORDON BLEU SANDWICHES
This sandwich utilizes several ready made items to make creating this delicious sandwich so simple. Plus it's easy to make a single serving too.Begin by heating up the breaded chicken patty. I use the air fryer if I'm just making a few. But if it's for the whole family, I'll heat them up in the oven following the package instructions.
TIP: Make sure the chicken patty gets crispy. I have found that they often require an additional 5-10 minutes to crisp up. Soggy chicken patties remind me of school lunch. I used to think I didn't like chicken sandwiches. It turns out that I like them.... as long as the chicken is crispy.
Once the chicken is done, add a slice of ham and a slice of provolone cheese on top and place it back in the oven (or air fryer) until the cheese has melted.
Serve on a toasted bun with ranch or, my favorite, creamy Caesar dressing.
