INGREDIENTS NEEDED FOR CROCKPOT GRANOLA
- old fashioned oats
- nuts/seeds (any combination of any of the following)
- sunflower seeds
- papitas (pumpkin seeds)
- sliced or slivered almonds
- chopped walnuts
- chopped pecans
- coconut
- dried fruit (any combination of any of the following)
- craisins
- raisins
- dried blueberries
- dried cherries
- oil
- vanilla
- honey
- cinnamon
- salt
My favorite nuts to add are almonds and I love dried blueberries and cherries in my granola.

HOW TO MAKE GRANOLA IN A SLOW COOKER
Spray the pot of a 4 quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Add to the pot, oats, nuts and seeds, coconut and dried fruit. Mix to combine.In a bowl, add the honey. Microwave for 30 seconds or so until the honey becomes fluid. Add oil, vanilla, cinnamon and salt.
Mix together and pour over the oats mixture. Stir to evenly coat the oats, seeds and fruit.
Cook on low heat for 1-2 hours. Stir every 30 minutes. Once granola begins to brown around the edges of the pot it is done.
Spread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to cool.
Once cooled, store in an air tight container.
I like to eat this with milk like cold cereal.

- 3 c. old fashioned oats
- 1 1/2 c. nuts/seeds
- 1 c. coconut
- 1/2 c. dried fruit
- 1/3 c. oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. honey
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Instructions
- Spray the pot of a slow cooker with cooking spray.
- Add oats, nuts, seeds, coconut and dried fruit to the pot and mix to combine.
- Place honey in a small bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds or so until the honey becomes fluid.
- Add oil, vanilla, cinnamon and salt to the honey and mix.
- Pour honey mixture over oat mixture and stir to combine.
- Cook on low heat for 1-2 hours. Stir every 30 minutes.
- It is done once the oats begin to brown on the edges of the pot.
- Pour granola out onto a parchment lined baking sheet to cool.
- Once cool, store in an airtight container.
