Try this no-bake peach dessert today!
I first got this peach dessert recipe from a friend a few years ago. I recently had a similar dessert at a church function where everyone raved about how yummy it was.
It reminded me that I had actually taken pictures last year when I made it. So now, a full year later, I'm sharing it with you!
This dessert is a great end of summer dessert. It's a chilled treat with fresh fruit and a creamy filling.
No Bake Peach Dessert
I recently had to bring a treat to a work dinner with my husband. I decided to make this peach dessert.
Let's just say it was a hit! I know I've said it before, but I'll say it one more time. A homemade treat will win EVERY TIME over store bought cookies.

How to Make Fresh Peach Dessert
This is an easy dessert. However it does take some time to set up, so plan ahead.Let's begin with the peach filling. Since it has to boil and then cool back down to room temperature.
Bring the water, sugar and cornstarch to a boil. Stir in the jello. Let cool to room temperature.
While that's cooling, let's make our graham cracker crust. Crush the graham crackers, stir the melted butter and sugar. Press into the bottom of a 9 X 13 inch baking dish.
Next mix the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar. Mix in the cool whip.
Spread half of the cream mixture onto the graham cracker crumbs. Place the remaining half in the fridge for later.
Tip: Make sure that the cream is spread all the way to the edges. We don't want any of our peach filling to seep down the sides and making our graham crackers soggy before it sets up.
Now let's prepare the peaches. Peel and dice the peaches.
Add the peaches to the cooled filling.
Pour peach filling on top of the cream layer. Place in fridge for 3-4 hours to set up.
Once the filling has set up, spread on the remaining cream filling. Sprinkle with more graham cracker crumbs right before serving if desired.
