Marinated Grilled Chicken Tenders Recipe
Summers almost over and I have not yet had my fill of this tasty chicken.
This recipe is so VERY easy! My 8 year old daughter made them all by herself. She even manned the grill {with supervision, of course} Be sure to watch the video!!
This recipe comes from my Grandpa's side of the family. You see they were {and many still are} turkey farmers. They became known for their famous grilled turkey tenders. I remember having them at family reunions. I've adapted the recipe only in the fact that I use chicken tenders, not turkey tenders.

One of the keys to the success of this chicken is to marinate it overnight.
To marinate something means to soak it in a liquid to add flavor and moisture. Marinating meat can also help tenderize it. And this marinade does exactly that. The chicken is so flavorful, juicy and tender.
Another key to success? Lemon-lime soda!
Yep, you read that right.
7-up, Sprite or even a generic brand. Something about the carbonation helps infuse the meat with flavor.
