So at the beginning of the summer I had a great idea to share no-bake dessert recipes with you all. I have come to realize, that no matter how much I think that I will blog over the summer, it just doesn't happen. I thrive on routine and structure and summer has neither.

I did get a lot of things done. I painted the entire main floor, minus the bedrooms/bathrooms. I de-cluttered almost the entire house. I kept the yard mostly free of weeds. But I did not blog. I had a hard time sitting down for a few hours at the computer, when I was nagging my kids to turn off their electronic things. It felt a bit hypocritical, so I just didn't blog much.

But there still at least one more month of hot weather, so better late than never. I have found some of the most light and refreshing treats as well as some of the most decadent and elegant desserts. You can make all of them without having to turn on your oven!
