A few weeks ago, I received a surprise package from Plaid. If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen all the goodies they sent. Anyway, one of the things in the package was marbling paint and some wooden plaques.
We finally got around to trying out the marbling paint. Marbling is mesmerizing - it's super fun to watch.

Tips for Using Marbling Paint
Tip #1 - We used Plaid's Marbling Paint - the float medium is already in the paint, so you just pour and swirl.
Tip #2 - You need at least 2 colors, but can use as many colors as you'd like.
Tip #3 - Use disposable foil trays to catch the mess. Paper cups placed in the trays can keep the art out of the mess while it dries, while allowing any extra drips to stay contained.
Tip #4 - Use A LOT more paint than you think is necessary. We all had to continue to add more paint to finish off the edges.
