I had to share one of my favorite summer desserts before summer is over. I found this in a Kraft Foods Magazine years ago.
You have got to try this! It is so cool and refreshing on a hot summer {or fall} day. Another plus is that you don't need to turn your oven.
I only make this once every summer, because I CANNOT stop eating it! It's that good.

5 Layer Oreo Dessert

A tasty refreshing oreo dessert, perfect for a warm day.
Ingredients
- Layer one:
- 35 Oreos, crushed
- 6 T. butter, melted
- Layer two:
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 T. cold milk
- 1 1/4 c. whipped topping
- Layer three:
- 3 1/4 c. milk
- 2 pkg. chocolate pudding
- Layer four:
- whipped topping (the rest of a 12 oz tub)
- Layer five:
- 3-4 Oreos, crushed
Instructions
- Crush 35 oreos. Mix with melted butter and then press into a 9 X 13 pan.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add milk and whipped topping. Spread over oreo crust.
- Mix together chocolate pudding and milk and spread on cream cheese layer.
- Spread whipped topping on top.
- Sprinkle with crushed oreos.
- Refrigerate a few hours and enjoy!

I have made this recipe now for years, and it is still a favorite of my kids, and everyone else who eats it! Easy to make and a great option for those warm summer nights, when you want a cool, yummy dessert!
