Remember the Reversible Bead Board Pumpkins I made in October. Well I decided to make some Christmas Trees for December.
For in depth instructions check out the pumpkin post.
Here's the paint I used:
Base:
Green Paint - (Folk Art's Thicket)
Glaze:
Staining Antiquing Medium (Americana) (This can be found in the paint section at Roberts)
Brown Paint (Americana's Burnt Umber)
Download the Christmas Tree Patterns here.
I love them, but I'm thinking they need a little embellishment. I need some ideas. What would you use to decorate them?
This is so clever! You could always add some "garland" with paint and jewels/beads for the ornaments. So very cute.

ReplyDeleteLove the trees! You could nail a rusty barn star on to them or maybe a little homespun fabric bow:) I am hopelessly prim ♥

Love these!!!! Good idea :)
ReplyDeleteYou could use buttons for ornaments? I like the idea of tin or rusty ornaments/star. I've seen epsom salt on somethings to make it look frosty and snowy and that has been really cute too.....

Awwww... what a cute idea. I'd love a long strip of these trees to cover the length of my mantle. Beautiful.
