As promised, here are my instructions for the checker board game I made from felt.
I started with and 8" X 8" piece of black felt. Then I cut 32 one inch pieces of red flannel. I glued them on and let dry overnight. This helped them stay in place when I sewed them on. I sewed them all in straight lines from top to bottom and side to side.
For the checkers I just cut out squares appox. 3/4 inch. I did not measure, I just eyeballed it. I cut tons of extra checker pieces since small things like that tend to get lost easily.
I also wanted them for the tic tac toe board I made from felt as well.
It's nothing fancy, I just drew it onto the felt and then cut it out.

Cute idea! So glad you shared it at Shine On Fridays!!
ReplyDeleteI like the tic tac toe game. A felt one would be so much easier for my kids to play game after game!
