Fruit pizza is perfect for potlucks because it makes a lot. It's become one of my go-to desserts to bring to gatherings. I always receive compliments and requests for the recipe. And you will too!
Traditionally fruit pizza is round and made on a pizza pan. This recipe would make two round pizzas. Since I only have one pizza pan, I opt to make it all on one large cookie sheet. I think it's easier to serve that way as well.

HOW TO MAKE FRUIT PIZZA
Fruit pizza is one of the easiest ways to make a dessert for a large gathering. It makes a lot and is easy to pre-cut for easy self-serving.- Make cookie dough and press into a cookie sheet or pizza pans.

A cookie crust, cool whip/cream cheese filling and sliced fruit, fruit pizza is a delicious and refreshing dessert.
Ingredients
Sugar Cookie Crust
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 5 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Topping
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 12 oz. cool whip, thawed
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- sliced fruit
Instructions
Sugar Cookie Crust
- Cream together butter and sugar.
- Mix in the eggs, vanilla and almond extract.
- Add the flour salt and baking soda. Stir just until combined.
- Spread onto a large greased baking sheet, or two greased pizza pans.
- Bake at 375 for 12-13 minutes.
- Let cool completely before adding the topping and fruit.
Topping
- Mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Gently stir in the cool whip.
- Spread over cooled cookie crust.
- Top with sliced fruit.
- Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Notes:
Many fruits will work for fruit pizza. I like to use fruits that don't brown once sliced. That way, the leftovers still looks appetizing. If you choose to use fruits that brown easily, add them immediately before serving.
